Week 2 Rewind

So, I didn't see this coming. Murphy in the lead, the Bucs, Bears, Texans and Chiefs all undefeated, wow. The Cowboys and Vikings are meanwhile totally defeated. I couldn't believe this except for watching it on NFL RedZone, the best thing to happen to TV since color broadcasts. The free preview of the RedZone was this week and I would totally pay much money for this channel except for my belief that Sunday afternoon is for sleeping before all else. Pres K and I need you guys to let us know when you have enough of a head-start. We like being good hosts so we decided before the season to take it easy for a few weeks but don't expect it for the entire season. Joe the Plumber of the Week - The Man formerly Known as BadNewz - Barracudies All of you guys who have ever been married know that a week can make a world's of difference. So it is for the former BadNewz. What a turn around in a few days. I could only wish that Barracudies had done well enough to knock the Terriers out of the lead. If there is one thing that the Terriers don't need, it is a larger head. Congratulations Barracudies, you are Joe the Plumber of the Week. You Cannot Be Serious of the Week - Formerly BadNewz - Barracudies The easiest way to be the Player of the Week is to pick winners that NO ONE else in the entire league picks. I don't even want to believe that Barracudies was the only one to pick BOTH Pittsburgh and N.Y. Jets. I mean are you kidding me. I know that Puddin is going to keep picking the Titans (until VY gets benched again) but really no one but Barracudies? Then the Jets pull out a Rex Ryan sized upset. I am impressed, and Barracudies doesn't do much that impresses me. Loveless Loser of the Week - Chief Red Beard - Roaches Why did you have to take Eli in the Manningbowl? I totally would have rather made Stevie Seahawk the Loser this week but Chad took the younger brother. I hate calling Red Beard a loser almost as much as I hated hearing all that endless talk about the Manning family during the Sunday Night game. We know they play quarterback...enough already. Sorry Red Beard but your the loser and not just because my wife found out today that she is deathly allergic to roach droppings. My Fantasy World - Play Talent A lot of grown men playing a fantasy game this past weekend found out that you should play very talented players on very awful teams. For instance, in the K&S Fantasy League, Juggs owns a very talented player named Jahvid Best on a very awful team named the Lions. Juggs, a young and somewhat short sighted man, reads all the experts and thinks that Best has too hard of a matchup to be worth starting. Well, it only meant a difference of 30 points. That would have been enough to beat The Chairman this week. So, guys remember...good players on bad teams bet a lot of touches. (Juggs - this is what I meant) Tips for Winning.....At Life - Don't Drop the Baby You're probably thinking that my title is some kind of code or motto, but I mean it literally. Very literally. You see, mother's are very protective of their off-spring. Very protective. This protective instinct can sometimes blind their other emotions when they see their reproductive work in pain. Now we know that accidents are going to happen and sometimes when you are talking on the phone and holding your child and fixing something to eat at one time the kid will get dropped on the hard wood floor, it happens. But when that happens right in front of the mother bear, watch out. Just be still and be quiet while she inspects the damage and curses you repeatedly. Whatever you do, don't make eye contact that will draw her vengeance. Accidents happen but a mother's instincts are hard to convince. Admin Info  -  Pay your money! This ain't no Obama style handout.
