| I'm back with the weekly reminder of how much smarter I am than the average bear. Week 1 shows that sometimes it just doesn't pay to pay that much attention to the off season. I mean if I would have picked these games at the end of last season I would have done better than following all the personnel transactions and all the blog hype. So with a new year comes new improvements and new faces to the K&S family of football. A couple of new players in the Pick'em League and a larger Fantasy League prove that you can't go wrong hitching your wagon to the NFL. You think the NFL has benefited more from the partnership with K&S or that K&S has benefited more from our NFL focus? Enough posturing, straight to the meat. Baller of the Week - Murphify - Rabid Terriers I know that the rest of you know nothing about this guy so let me fill you all in.....well, you're not missing much. Murphify is just your average female dominated house-husband. He is the kind of guy who asks how high on his way up when the wife turns around. Somehow this guy sneaks away in the middle of the night to watch NFL Network enough so that he can keep up with football. Congratulations Brandon, we underestimated you for week 1 but from knowing you it was inevitable. "Can't Believe It" Of the Week - Murphify - Rabid Terriers The rest of you guys are starting to hate this guy too, right? Murphify never lived close enough to Atlanta to jump on the Falcon band wagon like the rest of us. Looks like Pittsburgh, even without the Milledgeville Bandit, is still better than the Falcan'ts. I loathe the Falcons even more than I do Murphify. This pick won the week, and for winning the week you get mentioned in this blog post, what a deal! Weekly Biggest Loser - Formerly Known as BadNewz - Barracudies Something is not right with this guy. Ever since I beat him down in his first year in our Tourney he simply hasn't lived up to the hype. Of course, anytime you pick Detroit and Cleveland in one week you deserve the loser spot. Two guys who didn't even begin picking until after the first game beat down BadNewz this week. Come on Matt you've got a kid looking up to you. Fantasy Glimpse - Post Draft Transactions are Crucial - Michael didn't make it to the draft but we still gave him Arian Foster, he didn't trust us very much and he cut him in a few days. The Barracudies jumped on it and picked him up. Great move. Too bad Cudies would rather light one up with Ricky Williams than use Foster's 43.8 points. p.s. I might have been a little off on my draft day prognosis on Dez Bryant. A little, maybe. Tips for Winning at Life - Don't Take the Bait - If you ever get the chance, you need to eat at a Brazilian Style Steakhouse. I have been twice and I simply can't explain the experience. Last time I went it turned into a family affair and it is so great that having to do it with in-laws can't even taint the experience. You stuff your face over and over again with top cuts of steak and pork and seafood served hot off a skewer. So in the midst of the dinner conversation your wife or mother-in-law says something about eating so much steak that they are going to have to be set out to pasture, then the easy thing to say is "you are what you eat...mooo". If you want to win at life, don't say that you idiot. Administrative Matters - Don't forget to pay your dues. You can pay via check, cash, paypal or manual labor. This is a winner take most league. Second Place will double the dues and 3rd place will get their money back. This year will will pick games through the playoffs. As always, I love you guys. The Chairman |

Not only were you off on Dez Bryant. But all that crap you gave me about greg jennings.
Week 1 Randy Moss- 5.9 pts
Week 1 Greg Jennings- 14.2
Just a glimpse of the future. Jennings is better. Just watch.
This is a long season. Randy Moss wants to be paid and he will play like he deserves it. Let's compare again after week 6 or 7.
