| Here is The Chairman's recap on what went down during the fantasy draft today. Overall I have to say that I really like what Michaelismissing did with his team. I might not show for draft day next year if I can get that good of a team as well. Other than "Ghost Man" as we called him I think the next best overall team is my own. Really I dominated this draft overall. Check out my roster if you don't believe it. Here's some Draft Day Awards.... Biggest Reach - The longest arms at the draft belong the the SeaHawk and no one reached further down than when Stephen picked Baltimore's Defense with his second pick. Considering that no one else took a defense until the last pick of round 4 and then not again until round 7 this was way down in the bottom of the barrel. Best Value - When PresK picked Philly's RB McCoy in the 6th round he might have gotten a top 15 overall RB/WR by the end of the season. Most Risky - Stapleton's 10th round pick of Brett Favre is the biggest upside or downside of any fantasy pick in years. If he plays like last year it was a great value but if he stays at home doing cowboy blue-jeans commercials then you just lost out on a very valuable draft slot. Other honorable mentions in the Risky category are 1) Pres K's 10th round pick of Rothlisburger. This means he is playing David Garrard for at least 4 weeks. 2) BadNewz 3rd pick of Matthew Stafford. That's a very very early pick for a guy who can't hit water from a boat. Big Potential (...maybe) - Red Beard's round 3 pocketing of Jamaal Charles or Charles Jamaal as he says, could turn into big rewards but that's a high price to pay for potential. Other potential money makers include Puddin's Felix Jones (Round 4) and Stapleton's Michael Crabtree (Round 6) Steal of the Draft ( I robbed you people blind) - The Chairman again, totally dominated this draft. Picking up Justin Forsett in ROUND 14 is unthinkable. What were you people doing those entire 39 hours? Finally, The Absolutely Worst Pick of the Draft (maybe of all drafts in 2010) - When The Barracudies selected the Washington Redskins Defense in Round 10 ahead of other Defenses like San Diego, Tennessee, New England and Cincinnati with the reasoning that the Redskins have LB Joey Porter I about fell out of my chair. Porter is happily employed with the Arizona Cardinals and at least the Redskins have MEangelo Hall and Fatbert Haynesworth still to anchor that prestigious defense. Other flat out awful picks include but are not limited to 1) Juggs taking Gregg Jennings in round 4 before a guy named Randy Moss who went in round 5 2) Puddin taking T.O. in round 9 before Malcom Floyd was available in round 10. 3) Puddin taking Dez Bryant before verified starters like Braylon Edwards and Robert Meachem. The most important thing is that we got through this without any of our first string managers getting injured and no one will miss any playing time. Can't wait to do it all again next year, maybe I'll bring my trophy to show off this championship. Soon to be Champ, The Chairman |

The Last 2 boxes are Awful Week and Good Week...correct?
Looks like I stayed under the radar of incredibly bad choices on my 'blind date'. Chairman...I might use your rooster to help guide me on my 2nd fantasy draft of the weekend.
we will see who after has the better year. Jennings or Moss. Their yardage is nearly identical. Only difference is randy had all the TD's. Don't expect to see that much of a difference this year.
BRING IT ON!
Chad - I believe you are correct: Awful Week and Good week.
The blog needs a little help, so K&S will try to make some minor adjustments to fix these quarks.
