Week 7 Rewind

I think it is time for a Pop Quiz. Here is a one question test to measure your fan hood.

You can supply your own answer choices in the comment section below.

1.) Winning the K&S Challenge is as easy as …. __________________ .

a.. Beating the Raiders at Football.  – If the Sanchize has time to chow down during the game on the sidelines it can't be that hard.

b. Intercepting a Pass from Jake Delhomme – 13 interceptions in 6 games, 15 total turnovers - He leads the league in at least one stat

c. Picking a Quarterback in San Francisco -      S. Hill – 1st half = 0 points /  A. Smith 2nd half = 21 points.

Pick of the WeekStapleton – What would make you believe that Kurt Face Stubble Warner could go back into Giants Stadium and beat the Giants? The last time we saw Kurt Warner in NY he was getting benched for a rookie because he was playing then like a modern day Jake Delhomme. Well, Old Man Warner got his come back celebration on and only Stapleton saw it coming. This point kept Stapleton in the top of the week and earned him the honor of the Pick of the Week.

Player of the WeekThe Chairman – This might be my only award for this season. You knew I would claim it for myself didn't you? I probably would have lost out this week to the Grand Poobear had I not talked him into taking the Bears over the Bengals with me last Friday. It's very interesting that in weeks 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, Pres K and I have had only 3 picks different from each other. That's less than one a week. I guess I should stop giving my secrets away. We all know that Kristofer's goal in life is to be more like me. And who can blame him? I am the Player of the Week you know.

Loser of the WeekUncle Matty - You would think that a player who went with the Browns, the Chiefs, the Raiders, the Panthers and the Redskins would be the worst of the week by far…but you would be wrong. My Little Sister went with all those terrible teams and still wasn't alone at the bottom. So since Uncle Matty couldn't even do better than my sister who picked 5 of the worst teams in the same week, Uncle Matty is the Big Loser in Week 7.

What was Matthew thinking?

Tips for Winning....At LifeGood Insurance

Open Enrollment happens at a lot of work places this time of year. Guys, you need good insurance. Insurance is like sun screen, you didn't realize you didn't have enough until the next day. So, be sure to understand exactly what you are signing up for. Example- a guy at my work recently had his storage building behind his house robbed and all his tools and yard equipment is gone. He tried to file an insurance claim for the estimated total of his loss but the insurance company said that their policy was not to pay out in cash but to replace whatever was lost.

I told this story to my wife and she made sure that my life insurance wasn't through this company. She doesn't like their replacement policy.

As always, I love you guys.

I have to pick the Brown's once a season in order to remain in their fan club! I do have the T-shirt you know. I also have a Falcon's T-shirt- but I didn't pick them this week.

I very much dislike the Bengals. I can never pick them correctly. Ever!

And contrary to the Chairman's insane comment, I strive to be the complete opposite of him.
