Week 16 Rewind

Dear Santa,

With the regular season just about under wraps in the NFL, I have just a few Christmas wishes. You see this past weekend I saw my Miami Dolphins win its 10th game of the season after finishing last year with only 1 win. The Dolphins are a season surprise and everybody is starting to believe in them. Everybody in the K&S Football Tourney picked Miami over the Chiefs with the exception of I'd Rather Be Fishin'. Next week the Dolphins play the NY Jets for the division title and all I want for Christmas is a Dolphins victory.

San Diego this past weekend beat Tampa Bay, and, now sitting at 7-8, has the opportunity to win its division by beating the Bronco's next week. Santa, I like the Chargers (just like Mr. Stapleton) and that is the reason I picked them to beat the Bucs. That put us a point ahead of the crowd. Now I ask that you sprinkle some Christmas cheer and do what you can to help the Super Duper Super Chargers to the playoffs and allow Tomlison, Gates, Chambers, and Rivers to fight for a chance in the playoffs.

The Sunday night showdown was a good one, Santa. The Champion NY Giants took on the contender at full steam. The Panthers had the lead into the 4th Quarter, but the G-men took Earth Wind and Fire and pulled out a victory. This contest had mix results from the K&S gang, but the disappointment was on the side of SuperBowl Bound SeaHawks, Longhorns, and I'd Rather be Fishin.

I was quite surprised to see only one player chose the Titans over Pitts in Week 16. Longhorns made a smart pick and did something nobody else did this past weekend. Lucky for me, this incorrect pick didn't hurt too much because of that fact.

In Week 17 I would like to see the Dallas Cowboys lose to the Philly Eagles. Washington beat Philly this past weekend with a score of 10 to 3 and this affected the playoff picture. I know pixie dust belongs to Disney's Peter Pan, but if I think happy thoughts will this help Philly's chance. I updated my Christmas list; go ahead and put me down for an Eagles shirt, hat and thunder clappers...go Eagles!

The week high was 10 and for a fourth straight week I was at the top of the "nice" list. I just need to extend my streak one more week and hope for a few more falters by Longhorns, Perry and the Chairman. So, for my final request, I want a red rider pump action bb gun. I need to shoot a few more eyes out...
