Well, week 15 was good to me and Mr. Texas Longhorns. We nearly the same picks except for the Arizona-Minnesota game and the Houston-Tennessee game. So, the both of us took home the weekly high with 13 points. That helped me climb to the middle of the pack and puts Longhorns in 2nd place. Man, he should have payed! Bigdawgsfan had a tough week and brought down the house with 8 points.
The standings are changing quite a bit as the season draws to it's close. Strangely enough, the Coldiron brothers are in 2nd and 3rd and Mr. Chairman still continues his surge in 1st place. The next two weeks can still determine 1st and 2nd even though there is a five point differential. The Chairman had 10 points this week, and even though that is average, 5 other participants were able to gain some ground, i.e. Longhorns gaining 3 points on the Chairman to pull within 5.
So, the point I make is stick to it. Continue to study the game, the matchups and watch the playoff picture. With each game you pick you are shaping your own playoff scenario.
This week we had some smart picks and we had some dumber picks. I'm not going to call anyone out this week, but I will say that we all picked the Atlanta Falcons to beat Tampa Bay. Even the Chairman understands that the Falcons are on the pathway up.
To end this post, I ask you about the next two weeks and one team. Will the Detroit Lions have a winless season?
Gotta go Eli is on.
