Every one knows that as we count down the days to December 23rd we all get a little excited about the oncoming celebration of Festivus for the rest of us.
As Festivus draws closer I want to take a moment to remember the humble origins of this man-made holiday.
Frank Costanza: Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

Frank Costanza: It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!
So, get your Festivus poles and be preparing for the Feats of Strength and the Airing of Grievances because Festivus season is here.
Guarantees of the Week
19 – 4 – 1 on the year after a .500 week over Thanksgiving. That's still better than any of your wildest dreams.
1st, it could be a great game to watch on TV as the Packers face possibly a game time high tempature of <20 degrees. Snow showers on Saturday could set up for a modern day Ice Bowl. That's good news for anyone thinking about the over/under. With the Over/Under being 47.5, I'd suggest taking the UNDER. Not that I'm a betting man. K&S Ent does not promote gambling in any way sort or form.
2nd, The two greatest of NFL franchises square off this weekend. Legends in every way the Steelers will host the Cowboys. One thing is for certain. There will be at least as many interceptions thrown in this game as Touchdowns. With these two gun slingers and with the snow storm coming through look for The defense to catch as many of the offenses catch in the end-zone.
Game(s) of the Week
This is right in my wheel house. The NFC South has shaped up to be possibly the best division in Football. If any of the 4 NFC South Teams played in the AFC or NFC West they would each be leading those divisions by 4 games or more. So, clearly a match-up between the division leaders would be the Game of the Week. Luckly for ESPN this will also be showcased on Monday Night Football (Dum Dum Dum Dum).

I know most of you fellas are going to be buying gifts for that woman that lives with you this Festivus season. I just want to say, be careful men. This is a necessary evil we must do every year. The criteria for judging gifts given to women is a highly guarded ages old secret that you will never know so the best we can do is pray and hope.
I hear that our very own PresK has been decorating picture frames and making scrapbooks for his women for years. This showing of feminine behavior is frowned upon by most but seems to work well for him. I DO NOT suggest that you try this. Jewelry, DVDs of Chick Flicks/TV Shows, and Jewelry seem to be the only safe gifts this Festivus season so get out there and spend spend spend. Remember it's the cost, not the thought that counts.
