Week 13 Rewind

I trust everyone had a great and blessed Thanksgiving. On the Thanksgiving note all but Perry received 2 points on Turkey day games. For the rest of the week Stapleton and I took home the weekly honors with 11 points. The leader of the league had the weekly low with 8 points. This helped everyone, but overall the Chairman still has a 4 point lead.

Taking a look at the picks this week, we had the unanimous picks of Tennessee, Dallas, and Arizona; Baltimore, Buffalo, Indy and Miami; NY Giants and NY Jets. Right out front we all were 6-3. The pick of the week goes to Mr. Perry and me for picking the upset of the Carolina Panthers going up to Green Bay and beating the Pack on the frozen tundra. However, Mr. Perry and I were together again picking the Chicago Bears over Minnesota. Well, that one didn't go our way and we chalked up a "L" and that nullified our pick of the week.

So, it seems that the Chargers and the Jaguars are two teams that everybody should just write off. Both those teams had high expectations coming into the season, but it is about time to re-evaluate the team, including players and coaches. The NY Giants still look like the team to be in the NFC while Tennessee got back to its winning ways in the AFC. The Falcons are still surprising disbelievers and winning games no one thought was possible. I didn't expect to see Philly tear up the Cards on Thanksgiving day. It looks like McNabb and team can still compete, but is it too late? New Orleans still just can't get over the hump with the loss to Tampa Bay. The Steelers showed the Patriots who is the boss this year.

It was a great weekend in the NFL and especially in the K&S Football tourney. (I can say that I had a good week). Only a few more weeks left...and plenty of time to make a move, especially if the Chairman falters again.
