People Lend an ear. (or an eye as this is will be read and not heard)
In case you haven't noticed the headquarters of K&S has been very busy this week. We have continued to update the official home of K&S (ksenterprises.blogspot.com) with new photos and polls and the like.
We have also spent many hours this week in very important excavating work. In fact, most of the early morning hours of Wednesday were spent burying our guns and our wealth in non-disclosed locations.
So, with blistered hands and muddy shoes we bring to you the Week 10 Preview just in time for the NFL Network's first Thursday night game of this season. It's good to have the NFL Network.
Guarantees of the Week –
We had a weekly guarantee first last week. A push as they call it in the over/under world. Yes, I am claiming a push on the Plaxico guarantee from last week. Plax was the leading receiver on the winning team and the other team's guys got their yards in junk time when the game was already determined so I am going to rule that a push.
The push moves our yearly record to 12 – 3 – 1 for the weekly guarantees. No doubt better than any so called "professional" out there.
1st, in the game that none of you will see, the Broncos will triple their rushing yards from last week. Brady Quinn will attempt to make people forget that the Broncos are leading that division and will try to sell more EAS in his first start but the key to this game will be the Broncos balance on offense. Look for the Broncos to be able to establish the run early to open things up for Jay Cutler.
2nd, out in the desert on a November Monday night the Cardinals and the 49ers will each put up more points than they did the first time they played in week 1. I expect that the bye week and the QB change will spark the 49ers enough that each team will score well into the night.
Game(s) of the Week
The Giants @ The Eagles – If the Giants can pull out this game then they can begin the stitching on the NFC East Divisional Banner for 2008. The Giants haven't played a great schedule this far and have been the benefactor of some luck and some other teams bad luck to this point. The second half of the season is going to be a lot more difficult than the first for the Giants and it starts Sunday night. The Eagles have been playing well lately and if they have any dreams of having a home playoff game this winter will end if they don't win. The Eagles have the kind of "west-coast" offense that can get rid of the ball before the pass rush gets there and if their own defense can pressure Little Brother Manning then the national TV audience will see why Peyton is still the superior quarterback.
There are other great games going on this weekend as well. Can an Obama victory party give the Bears momentum to take down the undefeated Titans? Will Big Ben be ready in time to face the Colts? Will the Falcons keep playoff hopes alive or will the Saints continue their European flare and get back in the hunt? Will the Bills continue to falter and fall apart against the Pats in a game for the AFC East lead?
This will be a great week of football.
Personal Advise (Tips for Winning at Life)
You're not a young as you used to be. Your skin doesn't heal like it did growing up either. So, before you get on a 20 foot inflatable slide you need to do a couple of precautionary steps. First, put on long sleeves or elbow pads. That plastic/canvas material that your going to be jumping, falling, and flipping around on isn't exactly as smooth as silk. Second, think about a hat or some kind of bandana. More than likely if you're on the clumsy side and your doing things that no one in your weight class should even think about doing then at some point you're going to end up on your head and face. And if the slide material is going to give some burn to your elbows then just think about what you're forehead will look like.
Lastly, prepare a good story for your injuries and marks. If you're a grown adult with a giant burn/scrape on your forehead after Halloween people aren't going to understand if you tell them you weren't drunk. So, just tell them you were in a fight with a bear and a pipe wrench.
As always, I love you guys.

Tennessee has got to be running out of steam. They have been playing some rough and tough football against some physical football teams. The team plays in close ball games too. The Titans will definitely snap...
Here is the key to beating the Titans...the opponent either has to stop the Titans running game or create turns and convert the turn overs into a double digit lead.
If Chicago, limits its turnovers to 0 or 1, they can win this ball game. But if Rex or Kyle are throwing interceptions, it will be a long day for the Bears.
Daunte Culpepper is back and playing with the Lions. I know he hasn't played in awhile and doesn't know the system very well, but think about Culpepper to Calvin Johnson. It reminds me of his days throwing the rock to a purple people eater Randy Moss. This could make for a nice couple.
