Week 7 Preview

Who would have ever guessed that Joe the Plumber wasn't actually a licensed plumber?

<>Can you believe that we are still having this competition?  Through 6 weeks and the Chairman is up by 6 already. At this rate it will be the worst beating since the last Kimbo Slice fight.

Well, I guess you guys know that there is a prize on the line for second and third place as well so that will give you something to keep your interest in. Hopefully we can keep this competition as clean as the presidential race.

<>No more PORK!!!

<>Guarantees of the Week
My weekly guarantees are almost as impressive as my weekly picks.
8 - 2 for the season, if only I were a gambling man…. <>

1st, Speaking of being a gambling man, if you were to look at the lines for this week and if you were tempted to make thing interesting then you should take the points and the Browns. The Browns are about 7.5 point dogs to the Redskins. The Browns will at least be within 7 and could even pull of the upset outright. <>

2nd, Tampa will score at least double Seattle's score in their game Sunday Night. The Hawks are simply terrible. A terrible, awful, disgusting team this year and they will be no match for Tampa's defense. Stephen, don't watch this game, it will be ugly.

Game(s) of the Week
We have 4 games this week that could potentially make or break seasons for the loser.

San Diego @ Buffalo – If the Chargers lose this game then their season could be over. With Denver off to a good start the Chargers have to take care of business to keep their playoff dreams alive. Buffalo is coming off a bye week after their first loss of the season and will get their starting QB back from injury. If the Bills can somehow win this game then they will have a strangle hold on their division and will be in the driver's seat for a home playoff game.

<>New Orleans @ Carolina – If the Saints have any playoff hopes it will take a win to keep them alive this week. A loss by NO will leave them virtually 3 games back in the division after a loss to Tampa earlier in the year. The Panthers have to bounce back from their worst game of the season to keep their spot in the lead of the division. With the Saints having virtually no defense this game will come down to the Panther's defense. If the Panther's D plays like it did against KC then the Panthers win, if they play like they did last week then NO wins.

Colts @ Packers – This game features two teams who were able to throw the ball well last week and won impressively, of course they were only playing the Ravens and the Seahawks, so maybe those wins weren't so impressive. Each team needs a win to keep up their hopes at a playoff spot. Which ever team can run the ball affectively in the second half will win this game. That might be a challenge as the Colts could be without starter Joe Addai.

Cleveland @ Washington – These two teams are on opposite tracks so far this season. The Skins started seemingly strong earlier this year then lost to a befuddled Rams team at home. Conversely the Browns started terribly for a team that won 10 games last year then finally look good last week. The playoffs are going to be hard to come by for either team but the good news for Cleveland is that they only have to beat the Steelers for a playoff spot since the rest of their division is basically minor league this year. The Redskins however have to deal with the Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants and can't afford to lose out of the Division if they are going to keep their playoff hopes.

<> <>Personal Advise (Tips for Winning at Life)
Never let your in-laws and your parents be together without being there to temper expectations. Even if your in-laws and your parents were friends before you and your spouse ever met and even if they share the same occupation and have meetings in the same place at the same time, just don't let it happen.

It's not going to be good for anyone.

<>

As always, I love you guys.

The Chairman
