It was an average weekend at K&S Football Tourney as the week scores follow the bell curve. Congrats to Scrappy, Rather be Fishin, and Stapleton for having the week high with 9 points. The low score was 7 which two participants were the owner of and 5 of us had the median of 8 points.
The pick of the week has to go to Scrappy Coldiron for picking the upset over my Miami Dolphins over the San Diego "lacking any Charge---rs." Scrappy, you have to tell us what was your reasoning behind this pick?
The worst pick of the week goes to The Chairman for trying to will the Seattle Seahawks past the perfect NY G-Men. Also, another not so good pick was Longhorns Coldiron hoping the KC Chiefs would knock off another division leader in the pesky Carolina Panthers. Chairman and Longhorns, why did you go against all football knowledge and pick these two teams to upset division leaders?
It was a tough Week 5. The field was divided amongst many games which include, Philly and Washington, Arizona and Buffalo, Tampa Bay and Denver, and finally New England and San Francisco. As you can probable figure out by looking at the scores, if you won two of these games then you probably lost the other two just by looking at the final weekly total.
Overall, Chairman Soop is still the league leader by four points over Stephen Super Bowl bound Seahawks. We have to continue to target the Chairman and aim for a point or two better for several more weeks to make up ground. Congrats to those who were able to do so this week.
I predict the scores might be a little lower in Week 6 after a quick glance at the schedule, but I'm sure the Chairman will give us some good insights and his weekly guarantees for the upcoming football weekend.
Have a good week fellas.
