Week 3 Preview

Hello, Newman.

Week 3 is here and since there is no immediate threat of massive flooding and 200mph winds I expect we will have a full slate of games for you losers to guess at.

Those of you in the back of the pack (Hershall, PresK) really need to use these 16 game weeks to your advantage. Soon we will venture into the bye week bonanza and you will have even less games to make up ground. Of course, that could help you guys because it gives you one less game to pick wrong during bye weeks.

Let's stop kicking people while they're down and get to the business at hand.

The Chairman's Guarantee of the Week.
Last week I was 2 - 0. I was right with both guarantees. The Titans are a better offense without Vince Young and Hershall(Stapleton) did "PICK" more games than he did in week one. (he had picked the game before it was rained out)

So, here is my Weekly Guarantees to take to the bank.

1st, it is a virtual lock, as sure as Ole Faithful in Yellowstone, that the Vikings will actually score a touchdown this week. This comes after settling for 5 field goals last week .

2nd, the Chargers over the Jets. Take it to your bookie.

The Game of the Week
This is almost a toss up. I really like the Cowboy vs Packers. Then, you have to look at Jacksonville and Indy in a potential playoff elimination game if the Jaguars lose. Still, neither of these games are going to be the best this week.

This week the best game will undoubtedly be The Steelers at the Eagles.
The Eagles showed against the Cowboys that they are ready to once again be a contender in the playoff picture. While the Steelers have looked like the best team in the AFC thus far. These teams also pit each other's strength against one another. The Philly offense against the Steeler vaunted defense. Then you have pass happy Ben Rothlisburger with a bum shoulder against Jim Johnson's defense that will blitz all night and has the corners and safeties to cover behind the blitz.
This battle for Pennsylvania will be the highlight of Week 3.

Tips to Winning
This week's tip for winning is very simple. Listen to the experts here at K&S.
- K&S (The Chairman) were the first to tell you that the NFC was better than the AFC. It took an injury to Tom Brady for the rest of the "professional" talking heads on TV to admit it but K&S nailed it long before the season kicked off.
- K&S was also the first ones (The Chairman) to tell you that the SeaHawks weren't going to be any good. Check your NFC West Pre-Season Division Preview
- K&S was claiming the NFC East as the best division in football before any one else even knew that they had had 3 playoff teams for the last 2 years going into this season.
- K&S was also the first to report that the Vikings were going to have a short leash with Tarvaris Jackson and that he would be benched early in the season. Check your NFC North Preview for confirmation. (I still have the email if you want it again.)

So, if you want to be informed and have the best shot at winning the K&S NFL Tourney, then the easiest thing to do is to always pay attention to what The Chairman is saying.
The Chairman isn't the only two time winner of this great championship for nothing.

As always, I love you guys.

The Chairman
